Skype sessions
Book ‘Skype’ sessions for yourself or a small group.
Many families - and professionals - live far from our tutors and daily life sometimes makes regular attendance in class difficult. We wanted to give you the convenience of having a tutor without you having to leave your home or workplace…so we’ve developed remote tuition delivered through your computer, suitable for small groups and individuals.
Book by 40-minute sessions, or, for greater flexibility, for a total number of hours.

Skype Training Pack A - Individual Customised:
You choose the day, time and duration of your one-to-one tailor-made sessions.
One-to-one training, tailored to your needs:
3 sessions (2 hrs): £60.00
6 sessions (4 hrs): £120
Additional 40-minute sessions: £20
Skype Training Pack B - Group Customised:
Your group or family chooses the day, time and duration of the sessions. You can comfortably have 2 people sharing one webcam and up to 3 webcams at a session. The cost of sessions is split amongst yourselves.

Skype Training Pack C - Group Class:
Individuals join a weekly group class for your level, which will be at a regular time and day, open to anyone. Your tuition will not be as personalized as Training Pack A, but numbers will be kept low. Currently we are offering a ‘Foundation’ level for complete beginners and an ‘Improvers’ level for those who know the system but need help to use Cued Speech more fluently. A minimum of 4 hours Skype training is recommended.
Before you start:
You will receive a training programme that ties in with the e-learning website www.learntocue.co.uk and the Cued Speech Training Workbook (available as a down-load or hard copy by emailing training@cuedspeech.co.uk).
You will need to make sure you have a broadband connection, webcam, microphone and speakers on your computer.
Then download the latest free version of Skype from www.skype.com. When the programme is installed you will have to choose a ‘Skype name’. On the home page use the ‘add contact’ button to add your tutor to your contact list. For tutor Nicholas Orpin use: Nicholas@cuedspeech.
Please note:
For Training Packs A and B the time a session lasts can be flexible, but is likely to be around 40 minutes. Each session time will be logged to ensure you receive the amount of tuition you have paid for.
If you have chosen Training Pack B, only the tutor’s time on-line is counted, regardless of how many people are on-line in your class.
